officers were dispatched to see if suspect (xxx) wanted for violation of an active abuse prevention order was at his mothers address xxx everton st, unit 2. officers were not able to see a photo id of suspect (xxx) officers were only told that the suspect was wearing a black northface jacket and had a tattoo on his neck. the h104d/h411d (officers giannetti hobin and caufield) arrived on scene and knocked on front door of apartment #2. a hispanic male unknown to officers answered the door. officers observed that the unknown male had a tattoo on the left side of his neck. officers asked unknown male if he was xxx or if xxx was in the residence, the male attempted to close the front door on officers but officers entered apartment #2 and told the unknown male they had to confirm he was not (xxx) who was "good to go" for a violation of an active abuse prevention order. officers told hispanic male (later identified as xxx xxx xx/xx/xxxx) that he would be place in handcuffs until they verified his identity. officers had to physically place xxx in handcuffs who was resisting. xxx had a maine identification card me0223657. officers confirmed xxx xxx xx/xx/xxxx to not be xxx. officers also confirmed he did not have any outstanding arrest warrants. upon confirming identification of xxx, officers un cuffed xxx xxx. officers performed a brief security sweep of apartment #2 and also checked the basement for xxx to no avail. incident report completed on original incident.
